On Sunday, 08,01,2009, I finish my first bike trip on Bailaka road.
You can see my road on this website: click here
This is not a easy task for me. The level of my lovely bike is just Giant boulder, it has 21 level speed. But most of my team member's bike have 27 level.
I start from Taipei merto Hongshulin station. Before starting my first rtip,
I must cross the first task, a little road of mountain. This is a good way to warm up
my body.
But in fact, when I arrived the start of Bailaka road, I would like to back to Hongshulin station :P. Of course I didn't do that. I start this trip with shits in my
mouth. I just thought why I agreed Quinn's invite of this trip on the beautiful weekend. I can just sleep in my room.
The road is very hard to ride bike. I rided my bike and saw my clock. I calculate one, two, three, four, five, 10 meter. Slowly and step by step to climb this road.
If I'm too tired to go anymore, I took a rest for serveral minutes and drunk some water. Actually take a rest would make me raise the thinking of back room and sleep.
So it is a danger behavior XD.
In the road 6.5Km, Quinn and other faster team member had arrived the Bailaka cafe and wait for us. I took a long rest and replenish my water because I almost drunk out
all of my water.
And I started the trip again. 6.5Km means I had last 3.5Km to complete this trip. Quinn and other said if you see "于右任", it means you almost finish this trip.
I still treaded my bike and calculate. The weather was very good. In the trip, the wind often togeter with me. I finally found "于右任", but I thought I start the Hell trip. The road got harder and there were more cars in the road. The wind also blowed me to prevent me forward.
I spent out all of my energy to complete the last 3.5Km. And in the last K-meter, I think I just tread my bike and tried to finish this trip. I didn't think anything. I know I had spent all of my energy.
But I did it. I ride my bike to the top of "MT.Yang-Ming". Just like finish the half-marathon, 21Km, I did a mission impossible again. I prove "It's dogged as does it" again.
This is my first trip English article :)
Thanks.
